Brendan’s Whole Head Mask’s: Circa 1980′s

These whole head masks from the Oberon Museum were made by Oberon  founder Brendan Smith and worn and sold at the Renaissance Fair in Northern California in the mid 1980′s. Brendan, in this twenties at the time, had traveled to Italy and seen the art of mask making in action. True to form, he created his own, whimsical renditions of traditional medieval European themes such as jesters.
