Born in Harlem NY in October of 1915, Arthur Miller, was an America playwright was the author of some of the most iconic American plays: Death of a Salesmen, A The Crucible and A View from the Bridge. Miller is remembered for winning the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, testifying before the House Un-American Activities Committee and marrying Marilyn Monroe. His daughter, independent filmmaker, screenwriter, film director, and novelist, Rebecca Miller, is married to actor Daniel Day Lewis.
